Upheld by God's Right Arm
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Heb 13:5 (Wuest translation)
For He himself has said, and the statement is on record, I will not, I will not cease to sustain and uphold you. I will not, I will not, I will not let you down. So that, being of good courage, we are saying, The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What shall man do to me?
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
In the Bible, the right hand represents blessing, strength, and salvation. God is our strength. He upholds us with His right hand. In Christ we are seated at the right hand of God. Truly He has blessed us with His strength and His salvation.
