The Body is Christ

Colossians 2:16-17
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Colossians 2:16-17
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Christ fulfilled the law (a shadow of things to come.) Now we have all he accomplished in us. We are no longer under the carnal rules and regulations of the law. We have Christ (the body casting the shadow) in us and we are complete without the works of the law! We do not need "the shadow." We have the real thing!
