With this simple activity you make a flower with a Bible verse written on the back. FOR THIS ACTIVITY YOU WILL NEED: Styrofoam balls in 2 sizes (one size for base, one for center) Glue to fasten leaves and flower petals Wooden dowels for stems Petals cut from poster, tagboard, heavy paper, or craft foam Additonal paper (if gluing words to flower parts) Acrylic paints (or spray paints) for bases, stems, centers Paintbrushes Paints, crayons, markers to color leaves and petals

Write the scripture reference on the leaves.
Write the verse on the backs of the flower petals - One word per petal if possible.
Cut styrofoam balls in two.
Paint bases, stems, centers.
Stick stem into base, and stick center into stem.
Glue leaves and petals in place (with words all facing the same side.)
